Electrical and computer engineering professor Dr. Khalid Qaraqe, in collaboration with Dr. Murat Uysal from Ozyegin University in Turkey and their teams, have published the first paper exploring the use of visible light communication (VLC) to wirelessly monitor gas pipelines. Qaraqe and Mansoor awarded grant from Sidra Medicine

Dr. Khalid Qaraqe and Dr. Bilal Mansoor have been awarded a proof of concept project grant of QR 250,000 by Sidra Medicine to investigate remote monitoring of biodegradable cardiovascular stents.
