RDP awards travel grants to Texas A&M at Qatar researchers

Dr. Ihor Kulai, Dr. Krzysztof Switkowski and Mohamed Amine Arfaoui are the 2018 first quarter recipients of $1,200 travel grants to showcase their research through the Research Excellence Travel Grant Program. Kulai is a postdoctoral research associate in the Science Program working with Dr. Hassan Bazzi. He will give a presentation at the American Chemical Society's Fall 2018 National Meeting and Exposition in Boston, 19 through 23 Aug. Switkowski is a postdoctoral research associate in the Science Program working with Dr. Wieslaw Krolikowski. He will give a presentation at The Fifth Optical Manipulation and Structured Materials Conference in Japan, from 25 to 27 April. Arfaoui is a research associate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program working with Dr. Ali Ghrayeb. He will give a presentation at the IEEE International Conference on Communications in Kansas City, 22 May. The travel grants are an initiative of the Researcher Development Program that provides financial support to cover conference-related travel and expenses every quarter.
