Texas A&M at Qatar football team plays in Greece
Published Apr 18, 2018The Texas A&M University at Qatar football team recently accepted an invitation from the American College of Greece (ACG) to participate in their annual International Sports Festival. Students Esteban Saba, Yousef Diab, Souheib Seddi, Hussam Sayed, Moustafa Selim, Mohammed Al-Tamimi, Ahmad Al-Hamedi, Mohammad Shehabi, Amro Mohamed, Ayan Zia, Omar Hasnah, Almotazbelah Eledrisi, Abdulkarim Mohamed, Mohammed Abou Arkoub, Ahmed Al-Nowfal and Mohamed ElBiba played three matches against ACG, Lebanese American University and the University of Balamand. The players also visited cultural sites in Athens including the Acropolis, its surrounding areas, the Acropolis Museum and historic Plaka. The trip was partially funded by the football team’s previous tournament winnings.
