Masad receives 2017 Best Scientific Paper Award

Dr. Eyad Masad, professor in the Mechanical Engineering Program, has received the 2017 Best Scientific Paper Award from the journal Road Materials and Pavement Design. Williams awarded first place for dissertation on deciphering intercultural miscommunication

Dr. Joseph Williams, instructional associate professor of English in the Liberal Arts Program, has been awarded the outstanding dissertation award by Texas Tech University technical communication and rhetoric alumni. WIlliams' dissertation, "Safety within Oil Rig Culture: Deciphering Intercultural Miscommunication among Offshore Petroleum Workers," placed first for the years 2016 and 2017.

Six Texas A&M at Qatar students recently participated in the INJAZ Qatar Job Champions Competition over a monthlong period.
