Texas A&M at Qatar 3D Challenge encourages innovation to solve real-world challenges
Published May 30, 2018Inventors and innovators from institutions throughout Qatar showcased their creative applications of cutting-edge technology in the 3D Challenge. Two competitions — the 3D Printing Competition and Visualization Development Competition — make up the 3D Challenge. First place in the Visualization Development Competition went to Dr. Konstantinos Kakosimos and his team for their project, “Augmented workplace using holographic technologies.” First place in the 2018 3D Printing Competition went to Dr. Nabil Al Hamid Shallik and his team from Hamad Medical Corporation for the project, “Novel oropharyngeal airway.”
