Al-Hashimi and Kakosimos engage students in solar energy research
Published Sep 12, 2018Research associate professor in the Science Program Dr. Mohammed Al-Hashimi and Dr. Konstantinos Kakosimos, associate professor in the Chemical Engineering Program, hosted and supervised undergraduate and graduate students' research activities this past summer at Texas A&M at Qatar. Hassan Soliman an undergraduate student from Penn State University, and graduate student Karim Ashour from Europa-University Flensburg conducted research on degradation of conjugated polymers under concentrated solar power.
