Texas A&M at Qatar welcomes UTP research collaborators

Texas A&M at Qatar hosted a VIP contingent from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (Malaysia) on Sunday, including representatives from its six research institutes to discuss avenues for collaboration with the branch campus as well as with the research centers that are part of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. Associate deans Dr. Hassan S. Bazzi and Dr. Ioannis Economou spoke on the branch campus's research capabilities and priorities and Dr. Eyad Masad, director for global initiatives at TEES, introduced the relevant research it's also doing in Qatar.
