Guérillot collaborates with main campus colleague to present at oil recovery conference
Published Nov 21, 2018Petroleum engineering professor Dr. Dominique Guérillot and Dr. Mike King from the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M recently participated in the 16th edition of the European Conference on the Mathematics of Oil Recovery (ECMOR XVI) in Barcelona, Spain. The conference gathered applied mathematicians, geoscientists and engineers from both academia and industry to share recent advances in the mathematics of oil recovery. King and Guérillot both chaired two sessions each, gave talks and King also oversaw the technical presentations of their graduate students. One of the sessions was co-chaired by Dr. Ahmad Abushaika of Hamad Bin Khalifa University. Guérillot is a member of the scientific committee of this biennial conference.
