Texas A&M at Qatar wins Qatar Universities Basketball Cup
Published Dec 05, 2018Texas A&M at Qatar's women’s basketball team won the Qatar Universities Basketball Cup by defeating HBKU 31-16 in the championship game. The team went undefeated during the regular season and in the playoffs. Team members included: Lina Karkoub, Allison Meegan, Karima Ramadan, Malak Abou Samhadaneh, Yossra Osman, Layan Al-Huneidi, Mai Mahmoud, Omnya Abdalla, Byanne Malluhi, Farah Ramada, Joana Mahfouz, Nilufer Kizilgun and Sahar Karkoub (league MVP). The team was coached by Sandra Ramos.
