Education City United celebrates Qatar National Day
Published Dec 19, 2018The Qatari Student Association at Texas A&M at Qatar, along with all of the Qatari student organizations across Education City, recently hosted Education City United to celebrate Qatar National Day. The event at the Ceremonial Court included various activities such as a bazaar of student businesses, a gallery with student paintings and food stands. The event finished with an operetta directed by students delivering the message that they are the future of Qatar. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and the Omani Ambassador to the State of Qatar were in attendance to celebrate with students.
