Liberal arts faculty take part in WISE roundtable
Published Dec 19, 2018Program chair Dr. Zohreh Eslami and liberal arts faculty members Dr. Sara Hillman and Dr. Aymen Elsheikh participated in a World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Happenings Roundtable, "From Competition to Collaboration in Language Learning," at Qatar Foundation headquarters earlier this month. Language scholars and educators from a variety of sectors in Qatar were invited to discuss language use, language ideologies and language educational practices in Qatar. The discussion will be part of and shape an upcoming WISE research report on language policy in globalized contexts.
