Medical and High Energy Physics research group wins second place in presentation competition
Published Dec 19, 2018The Medical and High Energy Physics research group at Texas A&M at Qatar, headed by research professor Dr. Othmane Bouhali, recently placed second in the presentation competition at the International Workshop on Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy in Beirut, Lebanon. Temporary research associate Yassine Toufique, technical laboratory coordinator Maya Abi Akl and Bouhali presented the results of their paper, "Monte Carlo Simulation of Total Body Positron Emission Tomography Scanners."
