Eslami research project on hate speech receives funding from Texas A&M VPR

Liberal arts professor and program chair Dr. Zohreh Eslami and research collaborators from main campus have had their project selected for funding by the vice president of research at Texas A&M, Dr. Mark A Barteau. The project, "The Pragmatics of Othering: A Critical Discourse Analysis of Cyberhate," examines hate speech from an interdisciplinary approach and finds ways to counter it.
