Srinivasa named fellow of the Society of Engineering Science
Published Jan 15, 2019Dr. Arun Srinivasa has been named a fellow of the Society of Engineering Science.
Srinivasa is a professor in the mechanical engineering program and is the J. Mike Walker ‘66 Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University as the Holdredge/Paul Professor. His research interests include the plasticity of metals and polymers, thermomechanics of dissipative processes, dislocation dynamics, Cosserat continua, design, and dynamics of compliant mechanisms.
A fellow grade in the Society of Engineering Science is conferred upon worthy candidates to recognize their outstanding achievements in a field in which the society has interest, who has been a regular or life member of the society for at least five years, and whose contributions to the society and the technical community have justified this honor.
