Students visit RBAT facilities to learn about advanced technologies
Published Jan 16, 2019Texas A&M at Qatar students Ali Alashar, Ahmad Al-Kuwari, Sara Al-Mulla, Nasser Al-Thani and Saeed Binnoora visited Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies (RBAT) at QSTP last week. Students were given a rare opportunity to enter the unmanned vehicle workshop where demonstrations were conducted on interactive screens, as well as on the vehicles themselves. RBAT had recently introduced two unmanned vehicles during Qatar National Day celebrations. The director of engineering and senior engineers were present along with former students currently working at RBAT, including Abtesam Yousuf, Sara Owaida, Danish Rahman and Basel Hindi.
