Texas A&M at Qatar students participate in mini marathon to win class ring

Published Feb 24, 2019

Texas A&M at Qatar recently hosted its annual Run for the Ring event at Oxygen Park in Education City. Run for The Ring is a 5K run/walk promoting the Texas A&M tradition of the Aggie Ring, the most visible symbol of Texas A&M’s alumni association, the Aggie Network. The ring represents the values every Aggie should hold: excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service. Those who have earned the right to wear the Aggie Ring have cleared some of the toughest requirements in the United States for a class ring. Each student who finished the race course was entered into a drawing to win a certificate for a free Aggie Ring. Khaled Bodastour won the ring giveaway and Muhammad Zaid Kamil was the overall race winner.
