Bonachi and Gandra place first and second in poster presentations
Published Mar 13, 2019Dr. Marc Comi Bonachi, postdoctoral research associate under research associate professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Hashimi, won first place for his poster, “Synthesis of Conjugated Monomers Based on N-Alkyl-Bisthiazole-Dicarboximide Derivatives for Use in Transistor Devices.” Dr. Upendar Gandra, postdoctoral research associate under associate dean for research Dr. Hassan S. Bazzi, won second place for his poster, “Design and Synthesis of Light Triggered Carbon Monoxide Releasing Material (CORMA) with Colorimetric and Fluorometric Dual Turn-On Response.” Bonachi and Gandra received their awards at the first International Conference on Smart Nanomaterials hosted by Qatar University.
