Palestinian Cultural Club hosts luncheon
Published Mar 13, 2019The Palestinian Cultural Club (PCC) recently hosted Bethlehem Luncheon, featuring talks from Texas A&M at Qatar faculty members Dr. Haitham Abu Rub, Dr. Ali Ghrayeb and Dr. Eyad Masad on the theme, "We Still Have Hope for Palestine." PCC adviser Erin Wehrenberg and PCC members Rand Al Agha and Yousef Diab also spoke on what Palestine means to them and shared pictures and personal stories. PCC also prepared a video examining what if Palestine wasn't occupied, which reflected a love for their motherland despite being far away from it. A traditional Palestinian meal was served and attendees received gifts native to the region, such as sage, olive oil and zaatar.
