Three petroleum engineering undergraduate research projects place in UREP competition
Published Mar 13, 2019Three petroleum engineering undergraduate research projects of Dr. Nayef Alyafei, Dr. Mahmood Amani and Dr. Albertus Retnanto have qualified for the 11th UREP competition hosted by Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF). In the final qualification stage judged by a panel of experts in the energy field, in which all three groups competed, Alyafei's project, "From Pore-scale to Field-scale: Understanding of Multi-phase Flow in Porous Media," was selected for an oral presentation and a spot in the final competition to be judged 31 March at Qatar National Convention Centre. Amani and Retnanto's groups will present posters at the event.
