Texas A&M at Qatar seniors prepare for graduation
Published Apr 23, 2019Seniors at Texas A&M University at Qatar who are expecting to graduate in May tried on their commencement regalia and celebrated their successes during the recent Senior Robing Day event. More than 100 students are expected to earn their engineering degrees on 9 May during Texas A&M at Qatar’s annual commencement ceremony in which the branch campus will graduate its 1,000th engineer. Students at Texas A&M and Texas A&M at Qatar are called “Aggies” and after graduation, they are known as former students” because their hearts never truly leave the university they love so much. After graduation, these seniors will join the worldwide Aggie Network, which comprises the nearly 500,000 graduates of Texas A&M.
