GSA hosts Sustainability Tech Talks
Published Apr 24, 2019The Graduate Student Association at Texas A&M at Qatar recently wrapped up its series of seminars, "Tech Talks," in collaboration with the Global Water Sustainability Center at ConocoPhillips Qatar. The talks, featuring speakers from KAHRAMAA, QatarGas, the Qatar Green Building Council and others, raised awareness on sustainability practices in the engineering world through wastewater reduction techniques, solar energy utilization and environmentally conscious oil and gas recovery. GSA also hosted a final competition that put creative thinking and problem-solving skills to the test.
