The Center for Teaching and Learning hosted three courses during its most recent May ’19 Engineering Enrichment training cycle. Eighteen students successfully completed the “Contributing to Projects” course with Tafawoq, Qatar Shell, which consisted of four weeks of virtual training and one week of a face-to-face phase. This was followed by a panel discussion with Texas A&M at Qatar former students who are currently working in the oil and gas industry. The CTL also hosted QatarGas senior petroleum engineer Asfandiar Ansari for a two-day course, "Multiphase Flow: Theory and Practice." The third course was an interactive professional development course to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In all, 37 students participated in the latest training cycle.
