Texas A&M at Qatar students build car for student race in MichiganPublished Jun 26, 2019
Texas A&M University at Qatar mechanical engineering students Ahmad Jamal Al-Kuwari, Alaa Abdalla and Ali Al-Ashar built and raced a car at the SAE Supermileage event in Michigan earlier this month. The SAE Supermileage program is an engineering design competition for students that provides an opportunity to enhance their engineering design and project management skills by applying what they’ve learned in the classroom. The engineering design goal was to develop and construct a single-person, fuel-efficient vehicle. The vehicle was fully inspected in a series of tests to ensure it complied with the competition rules and passed.
