Texas A&M University at Qatar recently welcomed a new class of 13 master’s students in chemical engineering for the 2019-2020 academic year during Graduate Orientation.

Also in attendance were several new Ph.D. students from Texas A&M’s main campus in College Station, Texas (USA), and other universities who are at the branch campus to conduct their doctoral research.

The daylong event provided a comprehensive session about the branch campus’s graduate studies program. Members of the Graduate Student Association were on hand to assist the new students, who also met with current master’s and Ph.D. students to learn about available resources and support necessary to succeed in their first year.

Applications for the Master of Science (M.S.) and Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) programs will be accepted for the spring 2020 semester through 15 Nov. 2019. For information about Texas A&M at Qatar’s Graduate Studies program, visit https://www.qatar.tamu.edu/graduate-studies.
