New Sudanese Students Society hosts first event

The Sudanese Students Society, a brand-new student organization at Texas A&M University at Qatar, held its first event, “Hababkom,” a Sudanese term meaning "welcome." Traditional food was served along with some authentic music. The students also hosted a Kahoot, testing students on their knowledge about Sudan. Around 40 attendees participated in the event, including students and staff.
