Elbashir gives invited talk during Centenary International Engineering Congress
Published Oct 09, 2019The Qatar chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) invited Dr. Nimir Elbashir to give a talk at the Centenary International Engineering Congress held at Qatar University.
The theme of the Congress was "Smart Engineering: State-of-the-art Technologies in Oil and Gas and Civil Infrastructure Development."
Elbashir’s talk, ”Qatar, World Leader in Natural Gas Monetization,” highlighted the leading role Qatar is playing in natural gas conversion and exports on a global scale. He also was part of the ensuing panel discussion led by John McEntire, director of industry development, IP and commercialization for Qatar Foundation RDI) and with the participation of Dr. Sarim Dastagir, senior scientist with the Qatar Energy and Environment Research Institute.
