Student Engineers’ Council names officers and hosts workshop

The Student Engineers' Council has appointed its committee chairs for the year and hosted its first résumé-building workshop to help students prepare for the upcoming Career Networking Night in November.
Committee chairs for the 2019-2020 academic year are:
BOO: Sahar Karkoub, Hisham Al Midani
Networking: Fatma Ahmed
LIFE: Ahmed Fawzi, Abdulrahman Sayedahmed
Finance: Hamza Ghauri
Development: Omar Mostafa, Nilufer Kizilgun
Philanthropy: Ayesha Azimuddin
Media & Marketing: Syed Mustafa Husain Abidi
FAME: Fatin Abbasher, Mohamed Hassan
EDay: Haseeb Bajwa, Nivinya Hemachandra
A special training session was held in which the chairs were trained on running a committee and equipped with leadership skills that they will need to manage their respective committees.
The Networking Committee also conducted its first résumé-building workshop to prepare members and Texas A&M at Qatar students for the Career Networking Event, which is scheduled to be held 6 Nov. 2019.
