Special edition of Catalysis Today features research from Texas A&M at Qatar symposium

Elsevier has published the special edition of Catalysis Today (Volume 343, 1 March 2020) that features research presented during the 2017 Bukur Reaction Engineering & Catalysis Symposium honoring the distinguished career of retired faculty member Dr. Dragomir Bukur and his contributions to catalysis and reaction engineering during his tenure at Texas A&M University's main campus and Qatar campus.
 
TAMUQ-Catalysis-Today-Bukur-1The symposium was organized by the TEES Gas and Fuels Research Center (GFRC) and was supported by the Qatar National Research Fund, SASOL and Texas A&M at Qatar. Leading scientists from around the world attended the symposium.
 
Dr. Nimir Elbashir, a chemical engineering professor and GFRC director, edited the special issue of the journal that contains 24 papers from world-leading research groups covering a wide range of topics from methane conversion to hydrogen production and catalytic process engineering design. Texas A&M faculty and researchers participated in this special issue.
