More than 70 student organization leaders at Texas A&M University at Qatar recently participated in the Student Leadership Summit, an initiative conducted by the Department of Student Affairs every semester.
The program this semester focused on personal growth as well as professional skills development and offered a variety of content. A particular emphasis was on the benefits of developing values-congruent mental well-being for engineering students, building resilience and prioritizing self care.
The Summit was also attended by guest speaker Khalid Al Menhali, a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M. Al Menhali shared with the students his journey in engineering and education.
