Liberal Arts faculty edit book on globalism and transnationalism

TAMUQ-Liberal-Arts-van-de-Logt-bookDr. Mark van de Logt and Dr. Hyun Wu Lee from the Liberal Arts Program have co-edited the book, Liberal Arts Perspectives on Globalism and Transnationalism: Within the Knot, which has been published recently by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.

The book is based on selected papers from Texas A&M at Qatar's Liberal Arts International Conference 2018. The book discusses the roles and effects of transnational and cross-cultural education, technology, migrant workers and refugees, and research methodologies in order to understand current challenges surrounding globalization.

Dr. Mark van de Logt is an associate professor of History at Texas A&M at Qatar. He specializes in Native American and indigenous studies and U.S. military history.

Dr. Hyun Wu Lee previously taught history at Texas A&M at Qatar. He specializes in Early American and Atlantic world history.
