Students participate in CTL enrichment programs
Published Mar 08, 2020Ninety students had the opportunity to acquire different skills and opportunities during their spring break as part of the Center for Teaching and Learning’s Engineering Enrichment cycle 1-5 March. Aggies learned about jet engines at GE Aviation, explored mixed reality with Microsoft at TASMU Innovation Labs, participated in Shell Qatar’s Tafawoq program, were IOSH certified, participated in the hands-on “Basic Well Control” course, and learned about data analysis tools. This CTL programming is designed to inspire students and enrich their knowledge with a unique set of skills that distinguish them among engineers. Through a hands-on learning experience, the program drives students’ innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets, and prepares them for the job market.
