TAMUQ-CTL-Spring2020-enrichment

Ninety students had the opportunity to acquire different skills and opportunities during their spring break as part of the Center for Teaching and Learning’s Engineering Enrichment cycle 1-5 March. Aggies learned about jet engines at GE Aviation, explored mixed reality with Microsoft at TASMU Innovation Labs, participated in Shell Qatar’s Tafawoq program, were IOSH certified, participated in the hands-on “Basic Well Control” course, and learned about data analysis tools. This CTL programming is designed to inspire students and enrich their knowledge with a unique set of skills that distinguish them among engineers. Through a hands-on learning experience, the program drives students’ innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets, and prepares them for the job market.
