The Fall 2020 Student Leadership Summit, organized by Texas A&M University at Qatar’s Department of Student Affairs, recently brought together 25 student leaders who hold executive positions in various student organizations within Texas A&M at Qatar.

The twice-yearly summit focused on resilience in light of the global pandemic during which the student leaders made a particular emphasis on the benefits of developing coping mechanisms, time management skills and the ability to balance academics with student involvement.

Ahmad Al Momani, a member of Texas A&M at Qatar’s Class of 2018, attended the summit as a guest speaker to share his experience with his academic and professional journey.

“Listening to Ahmad Al Momani’s humorous and honest story kept us interested till the end of the summit,” said Saba Khan '23, a student leader who attended the summit.” The fact that he graduated only a few years ago and is already in an excellent position fulfilling his dreams made us feel very inspired and re-evaluate our lives in Texas A&M at Qatar. He also inspired us to make sure that we use all the brilliant resources available at the university as these opportunities will help build our character and add to our skillset and help us do well in the world after we graduate.”
