SPE hosts first virtual art competition

Texas A&M University at Qatar’s Society of Petroleum Engineers hosted its first art competition in an effort to build morale amongst the study body. Students were encouraged to explore a more creative side to themselves by drawing illustrations representing the oil and gas industry.
Rana Mansour, President of SPE, said, “The students’ positive responses reinvigorated our team’s energy and opened up a new potential venture for future events where we can work to incorporate more ‘art’ in STEM-oriented events.”
