Ali Sheharyar named NVIDIA DLI (Deep Learning Institute) University Ambassador

TAMUQ-Ali-SheharyarTAMUQ-NVIDIADr. Ali Sheharyar in Research Computing has joined NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute (DLI) University Ambassador Program.

Ambassadors are a select group of DLI-certified instructors committed to teach free instructor-led workshops at universities, academic conferences, and events exclusively for academic students, staff, and researchers. The Research Computing team will be leveraging the resources and opportunities in this program to promote HPC and AI/ML education for both undergraduate and graduate students at Texas A&M at Qatar. The workshops will also be open to faculty, researchers and staff to learn about the latest computing technologies with support from NVIDIA. Anyone who completes the workshop will earn a certificate from NVIDIA.

As an ambassador, Sheharyar will receive free cloud-based training and GPU platform and lecture materials for workshops and events, reimbursement for travel and catering expenses, and early access to new training materials.
