Texas A&M University at Qatar team wins third place in the Chem-E-Car Competition poster contest

The Texas A&M University at Qatar team won third place in the Chem-E-Car Competition poster contest at the Annual AIChE Conference held in San Diego, California.
The team was led by captain Farah Alawyia and included Aiman Ali, Mohamed Mohamed, Dana AbouHassanain (HBKU), Sai Lingampalli (HBKU), Saud AlJaidi, and Aisha Taha, all under the mentorship of Dr. Ghada Salama, advisor to TAMUQ's AIChE chapter.
The competition challenges students to design and build a car powered solely by chemical energy, capable of traveling a precise distance and safely stopping. It involves multiple regional competitions and a final competition at the Annual Student conference, and aims to increase awareness of the chemical engineering discipline among the public, industry leaders, educators, and other students.
