SPE and QSA student organizations host Grill and Chill

Texas A&M University at Qatar’s student organizations, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Qatari Students Association (QSA), came together to host Chill and Grill, the annual flagship event where students relax, de-stress, and connect with their peers, faculty, and alumni.

This year, the event introduced a mock PetroBowl competition, where student teams were paired with alumni mentors. This unique addition not only created a fun, competitive atmosphere but also provided an incredible opportunity for students to learn, network, and gain insights from industry professionals and former Aggies.

Beyond the PetroBowl challenge, the evening was packed with engaging activities including games and fun challenges for all, and hot chocolate at the majlis. The highlight of the event was a walk down memory lane, which featured a nostalgic photo display of past Aggie moments

Chill & Grill continues to be a cherished tradition, bringing together students from different backgrounds to celebrate their shared Aggie spirit and community bond.
