Texas A&M at Qatar alumni recognized at Doha Women’s Forum for STEM excellence
Published Feb 28, 2025Texas A&M University at Qatar alumni Dr. Dhabia Al Mohannadi ’12, Eng. Abeer Buhelaiqa ’11, and Dr. Deema Almasri ’11, were honored at the Doha Women’s Forum for their outstanding contributions to STEM.
Women in STEM Excellence Awards:

The awards were presented during Shaping Tomorrow: STEMpowered Women, an inspiring event hosted by the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Organized by the Doha Women’s Forum, the event brought together influential female leaders in STEM to inspire, mentor, and empower the next generation of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
As part of the event, Dr. Dhabia Al Mohannadi also participated in a panel discussion, sharing her expertise and insights on innovation and research.
These distinguished Aggies continue to push the boundaries of STEM while mentoring and shaping future female leaders.
