Babikr and Al-Khaldi receive QF Excellence Awards

Texas A&M University at Qatar celebrates Abdulla Babikr and Roudha Al-Khaldi, who were honored with the prestigious Qatar Foundation Excellence Award during the Qatar Foundation Convocation 2025.
This highly regarded award recognizes students from Qatar Foundation partner universities who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, creativity and a lasting impact on their communities. The recipients are celebrated as role models for how higher education can foster purpose, innovation and civic engagement.
Abdulla Babikr, a chemical engineering student, was recognized for his academic excellence, contributions to research and active involvement in student leadership and outreach.
Roudha Al-Khaldi, a student in electrical and computer engineering, was honored for her outstanding academic performance, innovation and dedication to student life and service.
Presented during Qatar Foundation’s annual convocation, the Excellence Award highlights students who go beyond the classroom to lead, inspire and positively shape the world around them.
