Petroleum engineering students participate in annual paper contest

Twenty-nine petroleum engineering students from Texas A&M University at Qatar presented their technical proposals to a panel of judges comprising 12 industry professionals and former students during the Petroleum Engineering Program’s annual Junior Student Paper Contest, sponsored by ExxonMobil.

First Place winners: Muzan Osman, Amal Haji, Ali Gameel and Jamal Yehya

Second Place winners: Khalifa Sadiq, Shams Ali, Zainab Al-Khayat and Haleema Al-Baker

The annual contest is designed to strengthen students’ technical writing and presentation skills while providing valuable experience in communicating complex research to professional audiences. The event also offers students constructive feedback from industry experts, helping prepare them for successful engineering careers.
