26 students receive Aggie rings
Published Oct 27, 2009Texas A&M at Qatar on 22 Oct. distributed 26 Aggie rings during the fall 2009 Aggie ring day celebration.
"By celebrating ring day, the Department of Student Affairs hoped to create a new tradition in celebrating both the students receiving Aggie rings as well as honoring the tradition and symbolism the ring represents," said Rachel White, a student development specialist in the Department of Student Affairs.
More than 150 faculty, staff and students were in attendance for the celebration.
