Qaraqe and Mansoor awarded grant from Sidra Medicine

Dr. Khalid Qaraqe and Dr. Bilal Mansoor have been awarded a proof of concept project grant of QR 250,000 by Sidra Medicine to investigate remote monitoring of biodegradable cardiovascular stents. Petroleum engineering students visit Dukhan field

Sixteen petroleum engineering students visited Qatar Petroleum's facilities in Dukhan. The students toured QP's drilling operations and visited a rig site. The visit began with a basic hydrogen sulfide training to ensure students understood the particular hazards and properties of H2S and the appropriate response actions to take in case of emergency.
