Abdelmoati takes second place in undergraduate research experience
Published Mar 21, 2009Hazem Abdelmoati, a senior chemical engineering major, took second place in the first cycle of the Undergraduate Research Experience Program for his presentation of "Silica and Sulfate Removals in Inland Desalination Using Reverse Osmosis with Brine Conversion and Zero Liquid Discharge." Out of 115 total projects, Abdelmoati was listed in the top ten, receiving an award from Qatar National Research Fund and a gift voucher worth QR 20,000.
