Chili team claims title of 2009 chili masters
Published Oct 21, 2009More than 250 taste testers participated in the 3rd annual Texas A&M at Qatar chili cook-off on 19 Oct. Of the 15 teams competing for the title, Poker Face Chili was named best overall and claimed the title of 2009 chili masters. The winning team comprised staff members Tim Canterbury and Brady Creel and students Barry Botes, Ahmed Hassan and Ahmed Lofti. Other winning teams included Felfela for spiciest chili, Better Chili Through Chemistry for best theme, Chili Alwalda for most unusual ingredient and Chili-licious for best original chili.
