Deadline approaching to apply for study abroad programs

Texas A&M at Qatar will host two faculty-led study abroad programs in Greece and Jordan this summer. The programs provide a greater global perspective on engineering as students work alongside other students from the host institutions and Texas A&M University. The deadline to apply is 31 Dec.

Athens, Greece
CHEN 451, 641 | Polymer Engineering
This program is led by Dr. Ioannis Economou, professor in the Chemical Engineering Program. Partnering with the National Technical University of Athens, students will experience a hands-on approach to studying polymers. Students will also explore Athens as well as excursions to Sounio and Delphi. This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Amman, Jordan
ECEN 314 | Signals and Systems
This program is led by Dr. Khalid Qaraqe, professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program. Partnering with German Jordanian University, students will gain a greater global perspective on topics within electrical and computer engineering. Students will also visit Petra, Jerash and the Dead Sea.
