The Doha Aggie Club is hosting the 16th Annual Boot Scoot 7 Feb. Hosted at the St. Regis Doha, the event will feature a TexMex buffet, live music, door prizes and silent auction. Proceeds from the event and silent auction will go to Texas A&M at Qatar's general scholarship fund. During the past three years, the Doha Aggie Club has pledged more than QR 150,000 to Texas A&M University at Qatar’s general scholarship fund. These funds, when coupled with other donated funds, have touched the lives of some 58 Aggies. Tickets for the event are being sold for QR 550.
