Flowers to lecture on changes in engineering education

Dr. Woodie Flowers, the Pappalardo Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will present "An Argument for a Major Change in Engineering Education" on 17 January as the third lecture of the Distinguished Lecture Series. His lecture is designed to stimulate discussion about the future of engineering education. The FIRST Robotics competition and selected design courses from MIT will be used as examples of education-centered services.
