Grad Studies welcomes prospective students

The Graduate Studies Program is hosting an Open House event 29 Jan. The goal of the event is to meet and network with current graduate students, faculty and administrators from the Texas A&M at Qatar and College Station campuses. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the University's facilities and state-of-the-art laboratories.The event will include a panel session, "Why Pursue a Graduate Degree?," featuring Dr. Khalid Al-khanji, vice President of student affairs, Hamad bin Khalifa University; and Dr. Amal Al-Malki, executive director at Translation and Interpreting Institute, Hamad bin Khalifa University, assistant teaching professor of English, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar; and Dr. Bruce Palmer, professor and program chair of chemical engineering, Texas A&M University at Qatar. Prospective students who attend will be will be registered for a chance to win iPad Mini. Application fees will be waived for all attending applicants.
