IET student chapter hosts public speaking competition
Published Apr 20, 2016Texas A&M at Qatar's Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) student chapter hosted a public speaking competition 31 March. The event, "Present Around the World," is a part of IET's global competition to encourage young students to develop and showcase their presentation skills. Alaa Abdalla placed second and Munazza Al-Sayed won the competition and will represent Qatar at the Europe, Middle East and Africa regional finals in Barcelona in July.
