Kelessidis' conference paper selected for print in SPE flagship journal
Published Nov 17, 2016Dr. Vassilios Kelessidis, adjunct professor in the Petroleum Engineering Program, and Research Associate Zisis Vryzas's conference paper, "Development and Testing of Novel Drilling Fluids Using Fe2O3 and SiO2 Nanoparticles for for Enhanced Drilling Operations," was chosen for selection in the November 2016 issue of the Society of Petroleum Engineers' flagship publication the Journal of Petroleum Technology. The paper was first presented at the International Petroleum Technology Conference in Doha in December 2015. It was a joint research collaboration between Kelessidis and Vryzas and Dr. Hisham A. Nasr-El-Din and Omar Mahmoud of the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M.
