Mechanical Engineering Program hosts entrepreneurial seminars

The Mechanical Engineering Program of Texas A&M at Qatar recently hosted two distinguished guests in their entrepreneurial seminars.

On 18 March, Dr. S. Thomas Emerson, Morgenthaler Chair in Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University, presented, "Secrets of Success of an Entrepreneur." The lecture focused on the the entrepreneurial journey as a learning experience and the principal lessons learned. On 25 March, Dr. George M. White, associate teaching professor at Carnegie Mellon University, presented, "Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Economic Growth: How to Use Business to Change the World."
